Prizes: Participation ribbons and prizes to be awarded
All General Rules and Regulations apply to this division. Please pick up your exhibitor’s package and check your entries to make sure that they are correct. Young Farmers will receive a wristband (free of charge) for access to barns after closing hours.
- Youth Waivers/Entry Forms will only be accepted in-person or by email to sophie@chilliwackfair.com
- Exceptions: Young Farmers who wish to enter the sheep show may enter online or in-person through Department E: Sheep
RULES:
- The animal is to be penned, caged, or tied with the associated FARM or 4-H CLUB and be clearly identified as belonging to and/or being the show animal of a Young Farmer participant NOT a 4-H member.
- Younger Farmers cannot show in 4-H classes and must be entered in Young Farmer classes only.
- Young Farmers are not permitted to show any 4-H project animal.
- Young Farmers must be under adult supervision while handling their animals.
- Each Young Farmer must have a waiver completed and signed by a parent or guardian.
Note: Livestock type classes are to be run as market/confirmation classes
