ENTRY FEE: Sections A, B, D $0.50 Section C (Adults) $1.00

PRIZE MONEY: 1^ST – $5, 2^ND – $4, 3^RD – $3

Rosettes:  Best in Section

SPECIAL AWARDS: First place in each Section (A, B and C) – $25 gift certificate donated by City of Chilliwack Engineering Department (Environmental Services)

PLEASE NOTE:

• Only one entry per class is permitted.
• You must present your claim tag to collect your exhibit and prize money, which will be released Sunday, August 10 at 5 p.m.  After Sunday, items will be available in the Fair Office 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Thursday, August 14. The office will not be staffed after this date. See instructions in Rules, page 2.

Definitions

• Upcycled clothing is the transformation of a piece of second-hand or thrifted clothing or fabric into a new item of clothing. A photo of the pre-transformation items must be included with each entry.
• Upcycled décor or art is the transformation of a second-hand or thrifted item into a new item of household décor or art. A photo of the pre-transformation items must be included with each entry.
• Repurposing is using an item for a purpose other than what it is commonly used for. An example is using an old bleach bottle as a scoop by cutting off the base.  A photo of the original use of the item can be included with an entry, but is not required.

Rules

1. All work must be the work of the exhibitor.
2. All work must be completed after August 2024.
3. No article previously competing in a Chilliwack Fair class will be accepted.
4. All exhibitors of valuable items must have proper insurance to cover any loss or damage. See Notice to Exhibitors.
5. Prizes awarded are at judge’s discretion.
