EXHIBIT ARRIVAL DATE: Bring your exhibits on Wednesday, August 6 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Entries brought after this time cannot be judged.

ENTRY FEE: Sections A & B: $0.50 (Junior, People With Diverse Abilities)

Sections C, D, E, F: $1.00 (Open)

PRIZE MONEY: 1ST – $5, 2ND – $4, 3RD – $3

Rosettes: Best in Show, Honourable Mention, Most Points and Best in Category

SPECIAL AWARDS:

  • Most Points in (includes all sections): $25 Cash Award
  • Best Entry in Section A – Junior: Book Prize
  • Most Points Most Points in Section C (Sewing): $25 gift certificate from Castle Fun Park
  • Most Points in Section D, E & F combined: $20 gift certificate from The Bookman

Please Note:

• Only one entry per class is permitted.

• You must present your claim tag to collect your exhibit and prize money which will be released Sunday, August 10 at 5 p.m. After Sunday, items will be available in the Fair Office 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Thursday, August 14. The office will not be staffed after this date. See instructions in Notice to Exhibitors.

• All work must be the work of the exhibitor.

• All work must be completed after August 2024.

• No article previously competing in a Chilliwack Fair class will be accepted.

• All exhibitors of valuable items must have proper insurance to cover any loss or damage. See Notice to Exhibitors.

• Youth are also encouraged to enter all open classes.

• Prizes awarded are at judge’s discretion.

SECTION A: JUNIOR (Age 18 & under)

1. Machine sewn apron

2. Machine sewn garment, any size or type

3. Machine sewn craft project, stuffed animals, or dolls

4. Machine sewn craft project, small accessory (hat, bag, purse, etc.)

5. Pillow case, using 2 or more pieces of fabric

(Open to any person with neurodivergent, cognitive, or physical support needs)

SECTION C: SEWING (Open)

20. Skirt, pants or jeans with waistband and zipper for adult or child

21. Sleepwear or loungewear for adult or child

22. Lingerie for adult

23. Apron

24. Special occasion dress (wedding, prom/ graduation, christening, etc.)

25. Purse or tote bag

26. Set of 2 placemats or potholders/ oven mitts
