EXHIBITOR’S ENTRY DATE: Wednesday, August 9 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Entries brought after this time cannot be judged.

Section A: $1.00

Section B, C, and D: Teens, Pre-Teens, and People With Diverse $0.50

PRIZE MONEY: 1ST – $5, 2ND – $4, 3RD – $3

SPECIAL AWARD:

• Most Points in Department R: Four Tickets to and sponsored by the Chilliwack Sunflower Festival

• Most Points in My First Quilt (Class 6, 7 & 8): Gift Certificate

RULES:

• You must present your claim tag to collect your exhibit and prize money which will be released Sunday, August 13 at 5 p.m. After Sunday, items will be available in the Fair Office 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Thursday, August 17. The office will not be staffed after this date. See instructions in Notice to Exhibitors.

• Quilts must consist of at least 3 layers and be quilted by hand, home machine or industrial long arm as per class entered.

• All medium through large quilts will be hung from dowels. A 3” sleeve (casing) is required, sewn or basted on the top of the back of the quilt for hanging. Leave at least 4” of quilt at either end of the sleeve to allow the dowel to be placed into the sleeve with ease. Quilts with pinned-on sleeves will not be accepted.

• Quilts previously entered at the Chilliwack Fair are not eligible for judging.

• Tied quilts are not eligible for judging.

• Please include your quilt dimensions in each class entered.

SECTION A: QUILTING HOUSEHOLD AND FASHION ITEMS – machine or hand quilted by exhibitor
