The Chilliwack Fair Needs YOU!

The annual Chilliwack Fair is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of our community’s roots in agriculture, the arts, and local heritage. It’s a place where families gather, memories are made, and traditions are passed down.

Each year, the Chilliwack Fair is brought to life by the dedication and enthusiasm of volunteers who generously donate their time and skills. Whether volunteering through the Chilliwack Agricultural Society, the Atchelitz Threshermen’s Association, the Chilliwack Rodeo Association, the Chilliwack 4-H District, or simply helping out as an individual, our volunteers are the heart of the Fair.

Fill out the form below to get involved 

  • Event Set up: Working with the crew setting up for the fair. Are you good with carpentry, setting up fencing, setting up tables, tablecloths and skirts, or driving tractors? We have lots of different lighter and heavier jobs to do and we can sure use you!
  • Exhibit Entry Day Help: Assist with registering and accepting exhibition entries for your department. Set up and display entries in an attractive manner. 
  • Home & Garden Barn Attendant: Greet visitors, answer questions, monitoring exhibition so no one touches items and direct visitors to submit their vote for the “People’s Choice” award.
  • Information Booth Volunteers: Greet visitors, hand out marketing materials, give directions and Lost & Found
  • Agriculture education booth: if you know or want to know more about agriculture this is for you, handing out pamphlets, monitoring displays, and managing interactive activities.
  • General light duty: Helping the fair run by stocking needed supplies, general upkeep, and completing tasks as they come.
  • Livestock shows: Helping the livestock shows run smoothly.
  • Home & Garden Barn Take Down: Directly after the fair closing on Sunday help is needed to hand entries back to exhibitors, take down tables and fold chairs.
  • Event Strike: Working with the crew to put the fair back to bed for another year. Lighter and heavier jobs are available.
