WE UNDERSTAND THAT ONLINE ENTRY PAYMENT PROCESSING IS NOT WORKING AND HAVE BEEN HARD AT WORK ON THIS. YOU CAN STILL ENTER ONLINE BUT WILL HAVE TO CALL THE OFFICE TO PROCESS THE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT MANUALLY OR BY ETRANSFER 604-824-8191.

FOR THIS YEAR ONLY, DUE TO THE ONLINE PAYMENT PROCESSING ISSUE, WE WILL BE ACCEPTING ENTRIES BY EMAIL. YOU CAN PRINT OUT THE IN-PERSON FORMS YOU NEED (PRIZE BOOK – The 149th Annual Chilliwack Fair) AND EMAIL THEM TO TOMMY@CHILLIWACKFAIR.COM WITH YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL. AS SOON AS ENTRY IS SENT, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE TO ARRANGE PAYMENT 604-824-8191. YOUR ENTRY WILL NOT BE PROCESSED/ENTERED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING IN THIS MATTER.

Follow these easy steps for ONLINE entries:

1. Choose a class from the prize book (4-H has a separate page 4-H – The 149th Annual Chilliwack Fair)

a) Grow an exhibit: Vegetables, Horticulture, Fruit, Floral, and Schools Garden

b) Create an exhibit: Needlework, Weaving & Spinning, Kitchen Arts, Hobbies, Art, and Photography

c) Livestock (includes goats, poultry, gymkhana and open horse show)

2. Get busy growing, making, baking, framing, painting, knitting…

3. Complete your entry through the following link, which includes your entry information (you will need to create an account).

PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS WILL NEED TO BE MADE AFTER ENTRIES ARE SUBMITTED EITHER BY ETRANSFER OR CREDIT CARD OVER THE PHONE. PLEASE CALL TOMMY AT 604-824-8191. YOU CAN ALSO BRING PAYMENT TO THE OFFICE.

a) Ensure that your exhibits comply with the category and age criteria. Chilliwack Fair staff can help you.

b) Do not bring your exhibits at this time.

c) Sorry, late entries will not be accepted.

4. Bring your actual entry items to the Fairgrounds.

a) Exhibits for Departments J, K, L, M, P, U and Y must be brought to the Home and Garden Building on Thursday, August 5 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

b) Exhibits for Departments N, O, Q, R, S, T and W must be brought to the Home and Garden Building on Wednesday, August 4 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

c) All livestock entries must be in place prior to 8 a.m. on Friday, August 6.

5. Come to the 149TH Annual Chilliwack Fair on August 6 to 8 to check out the blue ribbons and special awards. Thank you for sharing your talent with the community!

6. Please pick up your entry items. Exhibits may not be removed before 5 p.m. Sunday, August 8.

a) Home and Garden exhibits and prize money may be picked up between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, August 8. Vehicles required to pickup heavy items will not be allowed into the building until after 5:30 pm. Prize money may be claimed from the Fair office Monday through Thursday, August 12, 8am to 4pm, following the fair. Prizes will not be mailed out and will be forfeited if not claimed within this period. The office will not be staffed after that date.

a) Livestock and 4-H animals will be released at 5 p.m. Sunday, August 8. Prize money will be mailed to the exhibitor or 4-H Club.

c) Livestock (includes dairy, sheep, goats, llama, poultry, miniature horse, gymkhana and open horse show)

d) 4-H Clubs

3. Complete your entry form by the deadline listed below.

a) Ensure that your exhibits comply with thecategory and age criteria. Chilliwack Fair staffcan help you.

b) Please use the Home and Garden entry formfor all classes in Departments J through V. Thereare separate entry forms for each of: livestock,poultry, equestrian and 4-H Clubs.

c) Indicate whether you wish to purchase advance gate passes, 3 day event passes, or a membership in the Chilliwack Agricultural Society. (All members get free admission to the Fair.)

4. Bring or mail your entry form to the ChilliwackFair Entry Office. Faxed entries will not be accepted.

a) Please make note of the entry deadline for your submission.

b) Do not bring your exhibits at this time.
