We are very excited to welcome local celebrity Chef Tammy Wood back for the second year! Tammy has recently publisher her “Wild Game” Cookbook – featuring lots of fantastic recipes. She is also the food editor for BC Outdoor Hunting and Fishing Magazine. In 2017 she will be the host of the upcoming Wild TV Show “Saucy’s Got Game”. With all of the fantastic accomplishments, she also became the newest member of Cabela Canada’s Pro Staff, sharing her passion for hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and creating wild game recipes! We are very excited to have her back! Make sure you come watch her demonstration all weekend long on the Kitchen and Baking Stage!
Bring the family and create a hands-on work of art at the Chilliwack Community Arts Council’s Art Zone sponsored by Prairie Coast Equipment watch artists at work and take home one-of-a-kind artisan treasures of your own as part of this year’s Hometown Harvest festivities.
In addition to the activities, a pair of one-of-a-kind hand painted Adirondack chairs by local artists Marianne Palmer and John Butt will be featured as part of our “Chair-ity Raffle”. Enter to win these functional works of art by purchasing raffle tickets at the Chilliwack Community Arts Council tent. All proceeds support children’s arts programming. More photos coming soon!
